Good quality, some delays

I ordered a Cyberpunk 2077 Pistol replica last month, the painted version. The ordering process was straightforward enough, just clicked through and paid. It took about three weeks to ship, which they did mention was possible for painted items, so I wasn't too surprised. When it arrived, it was well-packed and the detail on the pistol was really impressive, truly looked game-accurate. It's solid, feels good in hand, not flimsy at all. I reached out to support once to ask about the shipping timeline, and they got back to me within a day with an update. Overall, a good experience for a custom prop, just be ready to wait a bit.

Decent price for a gift

I was looking for a Star Wars Lightsaber Replica for my nephew's birthday, and Blasters4Masters had some options. I signed up for their newsletter and got a 10% off code, which helped me save a bit. The price felt fair after the discount for what it was. Shipping wasn't free, but it wasn't outrageous either. It arrived in good time and looked pretty cool. Definitely a worthwhile purchase for a gift without breaking the bank.

Got an influencer referral code for Blasters4masters. Does anyone know if I can stack it with the free shipping offer they have for large orders?

T techfreak 6 days ago ✓ Best Answer
Usually, you can't stack codes unless explicitly stated. Most stores only allow one discount per order. You'll likely have to choose between the referral code or free shipping.

That's what I figured, but wanted to check. Thanks!

I tried stacking a newsletter code with a holiday sale discount once, and it didn't work. Had to pick the better deal.

Same here. Bummer, but understandable.

Which influencer code is it? Some have better discounts than free shipping if your order isn't huge.

It's for 15% off, and my order is pretty big, so free shipping would save me more.

My Fallout Pip-Boy replica arrived unpainted, as I ordered. The plastic quality is good, but I'm worried about painting all the small details. Any recommendations for good acrylic paints or specific brushes for props?

D deepu 6 days ago ✓ Best Answer
Definitely use model-grade acrylics. Vallejo or Citadel are great. For brushes, a fine detail brush (0 or 00) for the small stuff and a flat brush for larger areas. Don't forget a good primer first!

Thanks! Any specific primer you'd recommend for 3D printed plastic?

D deepu 6 days ago
Rust-Oleum Filler Primer works wonders to smooth out any tiny layer lines before painting.

Masking tape is your best friend for clean lines, especially on something like the Pip-Boy screen and buttons.

R Rahul87 6 days ago
Oh, good call. I always forget about masking.

Don't rush it! Thin coats are key to avoid brush strokes and maintain detail.

Got my Halo Energy Sword today! It's amazing, but the raw 3D print texture is a bit rougher than I imagined. Any tips for smoothing it out before painting?

T techfreak 2 weeks ago ✓ Best Answer
Sandpaper, starting with a coarser grit and moving to finer ones. Then a good primer filler can work wonders for hiding layer lines.

D deepu 2 weeks ago
Any specific grit recommendations? Don't wanna mess it up.

T techfreak 2 weeks ago
I usually go 220, then 400, then 600. Some people even go higher for a super smooth finish.

Following this, I'm thinking of getting an unpainted one next time for a custom paint job.

It's definitely a project, but rewarding!

Bondo spot putty is also great for filling in stubborn imperfections before sanding.

Oh, never thought of that. Thanks!

Just got my Apex Octane Heirloom from Blasters4masters. The quality is seriously impressive, way better than I expected for a replica.

Following this. I'm thinking of getting a custom one done for a cosplay, but worried about the finish.

They do custom commissions. I saw some examples on their site, looked professional.

Mine took about a week to ship after the holiday rush, but it was worth it.

Oh really? I've been eyeing that one. Is it weighty? Like, does it feel substantial in hand or more like a light prop?
1
G GamerRaj 3 weeks ago
Definitely substantial. Feels solid, not cheap plastic at all. The details are spot on too.

I got the Wraith Kunai, same experience. Super good feel.

My Blasters4masters newsletter coupon for 10% off isn't working at checkout. Anyone else have this issue or know why?

A Ankit 3 weeks ago
Is it a first order discount? You might already have used it if you've ordered before.
4
C coolboy88 3 weeks ago
Nope, this was specifically for newsletter signup.
5
P Priya 3 weeks ago
Did you try it on a limited edition item? Some codes exclude those.
3
C coolboy88 3 weeks ago
No, just a standard Destiny Hand Cannon replica. Nothing special.
4
R Rahul87 3 weeks ago
Sometimes they're single-use or expire quickly. Did you check the terms in the email?

C coolboy88 3 weeks ago
Yeah, it said valid for a month. I just got it last week.

Try clearing your browser cache maybe? Sometimes that helps with weird coupon glitches.
